How to get there

Not far from the village are the ruins of the medieval castle of Choban-Kale, on Cape Agira. The ruins of the fortress are small, but panoramic views open in all directions.

Near the cape there is a tract with the remains of four furnaces for processing clay. Previously, one of the largest pottery settlements on the Crimean coast was located here.

This happens due to underwater currents, which renew water off the coast 2-3 times a day, depending on the weather.

Katran Beach

Located in the west of the village. Its length is 1 kilometer. Along the entire beach are concentrated numerous hotels. The distance from many hotels to the water is hardly 20-30 meters

Kanaka Beach

More extended than the previous one. Its length is about 2 km. The main contingent is local residents and guests of boarding houses. There are no camping or hitchhiking spots. Therefore, there is more free space than in Katran.This beach boasts the presence of a small promenade, separated by green spaces.

St. Tropez Beach

This is a tiny private beach on the Kanak beam. Entrance to the beach is free, but all services are provided for a fee.
