In the past few years, Crimea has become a new, sought-after destination for summer vacations. The nature here is amazing, there is everything for a comfortable pastime, the infrastructure is developed at a high level. Among all the settlements, the New World is very popular.

Description

The history of the formation of the village dates back to the 19th century, when Lev Sergeyevich Golitsyn decided to open a winery on the peninsula. Russian winemaking originates from that very time. On the territory of the estate of the prince, the first buildings of the future plant were opened, the main area of activity of which was the production of champagne.

The local climate and nature are the best suited for vineyards, because there is enough sun and humidity. Champagne wines, which were produced at the factory, were produced according to traditional technology, so they were obtained of exceptional quality.

The first name of the village translated from English meant Paradise, but sounded like a Paradise. Changes were made after visiting Nicholas II, who decided to visit the factory. The New World received the status of an urban-type settlement, and since then the name has not changed.

People come here today to watch Golitsyn palaces. One decided to organize a museum, the other became an example of amazing Moorish architecture, so it can be found on the coat of arms of the settlement. Despite the fact that so much time has passed, the plant is still operating.

In the vicinity of the village there is a wonderful botanical reserve, where relic groves, endemic pine and tree juniper grow.In addition, it is impossible not to pay attention to the amazing grottoes and bays.

The village of New World has a good location on the southeastern coast of Crimea. Sudak is 5 kilometers away, Kerch is 150 kilometers away, and Simferopol is 100 kilometers away. Amazing nature made this place really look like paradise. The total area of the territory is slightly more than one square kilometer, the approximate population excluding tourists is 1000 people.

It is worth mentioning that in the vicinity of this place, well-known films were shot by everyone, such as Three Plus Two, Amphibian Man and others. High mountains protect the resort from the northern cold, which is why the climate here is mild both in summer and winter.

Tourists begin to arrive for a beach holiday from the beginning of May and are here until the end of October.

If you just want to spend a pleasant vacation, take a walk in local attractions, then you should come to the New World in early spring or late fall. Hiking tours to Tsar's Bay are popular. Many people who come here try to visit Mount Karaul-Oba or Cape Kapchik. Speaking specifically about the village, it is located on the shores of Green Bay, so we tried to organize a wonderful beach with developed infrastructure. Although not sandy, small pebbles are quite common for these places.

The central beach is 600 meters along the coastline. Its width is 50 meters, which is a lot for a small village. In some places there are small inclusions of sand, but there are not so many of them that you can please everyone. Right on the shore, you can rent a sunbed or umbrella, remove any other equipment. Here you can have fun on water rides, sit in a cafe.

Around the village is the only well-designed place to relax, where there is everything you need to feel comfortable. If you want to relax on a wild beach, away from numerous tourists, then you should definitely sit or take a walk in the Robber's Bay or Tsarskaya. Here the nature is almost untouched, there are wonderful places to relax in the campground.

Of the most popular attractions, it is worth visiting the Genoese fortress in Sudak or the ruins of a cave monastery in the village of Vesyoloye.

It is worth saying that in the summer, the village owes its favorable weather to the mountain range that surrounds this area. It is best to come here for a beach holiday in the velvet season, that is, in early autumn. Although it is still very warm here, there is no exhausting heat, in the evening you can relax while walking along the promenade, enjoy trips and excursions.

Cold strong winds do not exist here, and again thanks to the rocks. The subtropical climate creates a unique nature around. Despite the heat in the summer, it is surprisingly easy to carry.

What to see?

The New World is an amazing corner of nature. It is famous for its picturesque landscapes and beauty. It is called the little paradise. The former Golitsyn estate is surrounded on three sides by majestic mountains with many cozy bays, wild cliffs, mysterious grottoes and unique vegetation.

And tourists will always find something to show. An amazing panorama opens up from the heights of the mountains; in winter and early spring, shops attract their selection. You can go fishing or diving.

Going on an excursion to the New World, you should pay attention on the mountain slopes of Koba-Kai and the Kush-Kai ridge. The warm sea is located in the southeast. The coast is surrounded by three bays. In addition to landscapes, tourists will find fresh air, interesting historical sights. From here they come back with renewed vigor.

Needless to say, one of the most beautiful natural monuments in the New World is considered a botanical reserve. The total area under consideration is 450 hectares. Here is the Blue, Blue Bay, one of the most beautiful places in the area. If you want to see the Royal Beach, then you need to come here.

This is an amazing place to relax, not only because there is something to see. Weather and the local climate favor tourists, there are no strong winds, so you can bask in the sun with maximum pleasure for yourself. A mild climate is characteristic of this unique corner of nature.

In the bays that are located in the vicinity of the village, there are many vacationers who prefer to live as a savage. You need to take everything you need with you, including water, since the area is not yet equipped for campgrounds. Nevertheless, you can find everything you need in the territory of the nearest village, which is within easy reach.

Tourists who choose this type of vacation, in no way depend on local authorities. Places on wild beaches are completely free, but you need to keep track of cleanliness.

Being in a botanical reserve, you must visit a local attraction - Golitsyn trail, which was laid about 150 years ago. Its beginning lies in the Green Bay, along the road you will surely meet a grotto, inside which the air temperature is 5 degrees with a plus sign. It is known from history that this place was actively used due to its unique properties as a cellar for storing wines.

Further, the trail leads to the Pirate Bay. Such an interesting name is due to its rich history. According to the annals, pirates buried their treasures here. From here you get to the Royal Beach, which became known after a visit to Nicholas II. Today, the trail after the last earthquake collapsed in places, so getting to the beach has become more difficult.

Another attraction of the New World - Asandra fortress. Her remains can be seen today. The object appeared back in the 1st century. BC e., was used as a defensive structure, which was necessary during the time of the active struggle against pirates.

There is a fortress at an altitude of 70 meters on a cliff of a mountain Sentry-Oba. If you need to navigate where to move, then you should take the tenth kilometer on the Sudak-Alushta highway as a guideline. It’s easier because most visitors prefer to move around the village and its environs by rented vehicles.

Today, ruins occupy 0.25 hectares. The fortress was discovered in 1982 by the archaeologist Baranov, who noticed that the structure has ancient forms. There are four towers at the corners of the rectangle. The walls at the entrance had a thickness of 3 meters, where the cliff was located, only 60 centimeters. In height, the parapets were at a distance of 4-6 meters. Inside were a forge and other necessary buildings.

The total number of people inside was 100 people, all the supply came from the sea from Feodosia.

They ceased to actively use the object during the reign of Aspurg. Everything valuable was taken out at one time, only empty walls remained, which afterwards turned into ruins. During the excavation found dishes, parts of weapons, pottery. Today, the fortress has become a local attraction, you can see it and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the past. It offers an amazing view. A well has been preserved on a large area in the center.

To preserve the attraction, it was decided to restore the foundation. The Black Sea and nearby bays are perfectly visible from the walls. Not far from this place is another village - Veseloe, where the famous Kazantip festival is held today.

From the Sudak to the New World, the Reef Mountains stretch. All the highlands are divided into bizarre sites, many vineyards and pink groves. In the Sudak Bay, which is limited by Cape Alchak and the Fortress Mountain, is the city of Sudak, it is also full of natural beauties.

For example, the mountains here are special, have an unusual structure - they mainly consist of limestone. Even with the naked eye, the remains of fossils represented in the form of organics are noticeable. This is not only corals, but also algae, and even bryozoans. All these organisms were at a depth of not more than 50 meters, because they prefer clean and warm water.

The limestone skeleton appeared due to corals, it was they who pumped calcium out of the water and created it around them. Dying for many generations, rocks formed in this place, which, for example, in the Pacific Ocean, are called reefs.

On the territory of Crimea, reefs are about 150 million years old, after the sea level fell, they were covered with clay, then the wind and rains destroyed it, exposing the limestone.

The nearby airport in Simferopol allows you to quickly get to the described place.

Pirate or Rogue beach is located in the Blue Bay. According to history, in the XIII century, numerous pirates and smugglers landed here, wanting to hide the loot. All the ships that sailed from the south could not see this place, since it was covered by Cape Kapchik. It was very convenient for robbers who could attack unexpectedly.

If we talk about the advantages of the beach as a local attraction, then it is quite uncomfortable, narrow. Often rockfalls happen here, which can be very dangerous.

Most of the beach is covered with boulders, they are also in the sea, but covered with abundant vegetation, so slippery, which is why you should be careful. Convenience is also absent, nearby is the tourist Golitsyn trail.

According to one legend, it is believed that deep in the sea there are ships with treasures that have not been lifted from the bottom. If you want to come here, it is better to use a boat than to get by land.

There are nearby New World and another attraction - Koba Kaya or Mount Eagle. This object is an amazing attraction, a coral reef that rises 165 meters above sea level. Where the sea washes it, there is a sheer cliff with a grotto. If you want to capture an amazing view, then you should climb to the highest point, from where you can see the Black Sea.

It is not so easy to take a fascinating walk, as there is a narrow path with cliffs to the top leading to the top, so it is important to take extra care. Cavers for a long time explored this place, after that an underwater cave was opened, which it was decided to call the "Legend."

You can get into it through the water surface, you may need to swim a short distance under water. Here tourists are attracted by the opportunity to look at the freshwater lake, as well as stalactites and stalagmites.

At the bottom of the mountain you can admire the numerous flora and fauna, on the top they are practically absent. Local flowers are used as aromatic ingredients that are added to drinks.

If you choose the right angle, then Mount Koba-Kaya becomes similar in shape to an eagle, hence the name.

Local national cuisine varies from region to region, but overall it is very tasty and nutritious. Its simplicity is explained by the fact that most recipes were created by ordinary peasants who needed to quickly cook high-calorie dishes. They could not afford expensive products, so they used large quantities of vegetables from their own garden.

Although many foreigners are familiar with the most common dishes, it is still worth trying some of them.

As a side dish, you can use mashed potatoes or cereals.
  • Uzvar. Compote with dried fruits is a national drink with a rich history dating back to dark medieval times. Reviews

More and more tourists begin to explore the rest in the village of New World. They leave mostly positive reviews. They say that it is very quiet here, even when there are many tourists, the evenings are calm, therefore those tourists who would like to enjoy the silence come here.

On the beach, there is almost always a place where you can comfortably accommodate, if you wish, you can go to an area that is not equipped, but there you will have to prepare for large boulders.

The beach is sandy only in some places, the rest is small pebbles. From the village side there are beautiful groves, they give fresh, healing air.

You should not expect luxury apartments here, most of the hotels are guest houses where locals offer a room. There is everything you need, but luxury accommodation is available exclusively in cottages.

Some advise you to choose the right place with regard to cuisine and restaurants. There are institutions on the coast that care about their authority and those who do not care about him, because vacationers have to dine somewhere. It is necessary to carefully monitor the freshness of the food.
