The ancient settlement stopped in this place in the 5th century AD, archaeologist Lantsov was able to find evidence of his stay in 1980. For a long time, until 1917, there stood Aly dacha, from where useful mud was needed to be transported to Livadia to treat Tsarevich Alexei.

Nature endowed the settlement with a convenient location, but, despite this, it is not yet considered a full-fledged resort. Of the main disadvantages it is worth highlighting:

• too close to the airfield, which is why it is noisy and dusty;
• some areas have access control;
• a lot of soldiers and equipment around;
• the landscape is hardly attractive.

However, the village has its advantages:

• close to the sea;
• there are many medical reservoirs nearby;
• housing is inexpensive;
• well-developed transport links.

Despite the fact that in recent years a lot of effort has been made and reconstruction has been carried out, one should not expect anything special from the local embankment.The first street is far away, because according to the layout of the village, hotels and small private hotels are closest to the sea. The private sector is a little inland.

The whole promenade is a place where people come to relax and have fun, but there are no living quarters. This is not the first reconstruction, the repair was carried out for the first time in 2003, when it was decided to simply lay a smooth asphalt road along which small souvenir shops and cafes were lined.

The opening took place in 2016. The event turned out to be solemn, the scale was really amazing, since the reconstruction was the first step to the reorganization of the whole Crimea and its improvement. Today you can appreciate the general idea and idea, but work is still ongoing.

Throughout the length of the embankment, even during the reconstruction, it was decided to leave restaurants and small cafes with shops, but these are not just barbecue houses, but quite attractive buildings with unique architecture. The cost of lunch can not but rejoice.

Here it was also possible to rent a bicycle, there are those who offer fascinating excursions to local attractions. The only thing missing here is a shade, since there are problems with landscaping, but there are flower beds.

We can say with confidence that the beach in this area is one of the widest in the whole territory of Crimea. The coast with a length of several kilometers is ready to receive numerous tourists in the midst of summer. The width is also large, on the beach there is both sand and pebbles.

In the center of Novofedorovka, the beach is regularly covered with gravel, the sea has made them less sharp, but it is still worth wearing special beach shoes, however, as well as renting a sunbed. This place is called "At the pier." It is popular because gently sloping into the sea, without sudden changes. The bottom is sandy, there is no garbage.

The entire coastal area that adjoins the pier is considered a village beach. On a wooden pavement you can go to the sea for 130 meters. From here, young people love to dive, and fishermen catch fish. Pleasure boats also dock at the pier. When it became too crowded a few years ago, the city administration decided to improve the neighboring plot and gave the beach the name “Deck”.

All this place has to offer is comfortable stay, but without much luxury. To maintain cleanliness several times a day, the surrounding area is cleaned, there are street toilets and showers where you can wash off salt water. If you need to change clothes, the locker rooms are also installed in sufficient quantities, water is supplied free of charge from drinking fountains. All this is new, so it works properly.

The beach is completely free, but sun loungers and umbrellas will have to be paid separately. Paths were laid on pebbles or sand to make it easier to walk. If the vacation is carried out by a family or a small company, then you can hide in a wardrobe. There is also a separate recreation area for those who are accustomed to comfort at the highest level.

If you plan to get to the beaches or the Novofedorovka embankment from Simferopol, it is best to take the Kurortnaya bus station.Shuttles leave from Saki all day without days off. City buses make a stop near the Central Square, there is immediately the church of Fedor Ushakov, from which it is not very close to the sea - 2 kilometers on foot, so you can take a taxi.

Well-furnished apartments can be rented near the promenade. Here are not only expensive hotels, but also private apartments, guest houses.

A standard room in the private sector will offer a room from 600 rubles, more comfortable with air conditioning - from 1000 rubles.

Small hotels offer breakfast for apartments, the cost of such a stay per day starts at 1800 rubles. Price may vary within 20% depending on the season.

A few bungalows are quite popular, but you should not expect that they are right next to the sea. There is a certain area, behind the promenade, which was given for development. This is convenient because the sea remains in close proximity, and there is no risk of storm damage. Although there are no strong winds because of the large concentration of mountains, in bad weather it is better to stay away from the sea surface, as the waves rise high.

In general, there should not be a problem with finding a room for accommodation. Tourists come and go, many do not stay for long, therefore there are always empty seats, but just in case it is better to book in advance, because then you can save a little.

Most of the tourists who visited Novofedorovka noted the cleanliness of the sea and the beach. Indeed, local authorities make sure that vacationers are comfortable, so there is a regular cleaning service.

Those who were here many years ago could not help but note how much the village has changed lately. All changes have occurred only for the better: the beach was equipped with cabins and showers, the embankment was improved and expanded. Many people do not exist here, so it is comfortable to relax with children.
