Today, to create a stylish and high-quality manicure, a wide range of products from various manufacturers is presented. New materials fascinate with variety, but many are attracted by the rubber base for nails.

Features

Such a base is a special coating, which in its composition contains rubber in liquid form. Many masters of the nail industry give preference to just such a product, because after drying, the coating becomes somewhat springy, thereby giving the nails plasticity, which is very important. Thanks to the rubber content, such a tool is characterized by a thick consistency, which allows you to quickly and easily align the nail plate.

      If a small corner of the marigold breaks, then this base will allow for its extension, but this tool will not work to get the full effect. It is worth noting another important advantage of the rubber base - unlike liquid bases, it remains at the edges of the plate. For this reason it is necessary to apply in two layers.

      A rubber base is the best choice for brittle and thin nail plates that do not hold gel polish well. The application of this tool will give the gel polish resistance and reliability. Today, many manufacturers of nail extension products also offer rubber-based bases, but, unfortunately, their quality does not always satisfy the wishes of customers. Some companies offer the usual liquid base, but designate it as rubber. Therefore, you should be very careful when choosing it, so as not to buy a fake.

        The rubber base attracts the attention of buyers with the following advantages:

        • creates an elastic and durable coating that allows you to hold together the layers of gel polish;
        • gives brittle nails resistance;
        • the coating can be either thin or dense, which allows the buyer to choose the option that will be optimal for his nail plates;
        • allows you to create an even coating regardless of the condition of the nails using the simplicity of the alignment process.

        Like any remedy, this basic coating has some disadvantages:

        • the product is made on the basis of rubber, therefore it differs in a thick consistency, which can lead to the formation of bubbles after using the lamp;
        • if you tightly close the bottle with the base, then it will become thicker, which in the future will lead to the impossibility of its use;
        • it is necessary to adhere to certain application rules, otherwise the coating will look sloppy and uneven;
        • do not remove the sticky coating layer, since it guarantees reliable adhesion to gel polish.

        How to apply?

        It should be taken into account that applying a rubber base is different from using the usual version. First of all, it is worth deciding on the purpose of its application, since this is what plays the main role in how to apply it on the nail plates. But the processing of nails must be done according to the classical method, which is manifested in the following sequence of actions:

        • pterygium should be removed, treatment of the cuticle area and rollers on the sides;
        • then it is necessary to remove the natural shine using a polisher or a soft file, the abrasiveness of which should be from 180 to 240 grit;
        • after that it is worth treating the nails with a degreaser, dehydrator and primer;
        • after performing all the above steps, you can proceed directly to the application of the rubber base.

        As mentioned above, the method of applying the tool is completely dependent on subsequent goals. For example, if a correction or nail extension is performed, then the base must be applied with a thin layer, while trying to produce rotational movements with a brush. However, to align the plates, the agent should be applied in several stages.

        • It is necessary to apply the first coat as thinly as possible. On the base, as on the tip of the brush, more funds should be removed so that there is not much left on the brush itself. Then you can proceed to rubbing the base into the nail plate.
        • The first layer should not be dried - it is necessary to apply one drop of rubber base in the center. Then, with the help of a brush, it must be pulled into the cuticle area and evenly distributed, moving towards the free edge of the nail. After this, it is necessary to carry out sealing.
        • If there is a large amount of base on the nail, then you need to dry each nail in the lamp separately. For this purpose, it is better to use a device with a power of 48 W, because with its help, a thick layer dries out in just half a minute.
        • To give the nail plate the correct shape, it is worth lowering the nail - this will allow the drop to create the so-called tubercle. In other words, an apex will form in the stress zone. Then the nail should be returned to its original position and dried under the lamp - this action will ensure a perfectly even coating.

        How to shoot?

        Many are interested in the question of removing gel polish along with the base, since this process is inevitable after each application. Usually, such a coating is quite difficult to remove, but you should pay attention to the Varnish Square technique, which is quite simple to use.

        This technique is carried out as follows:

        • first of all, a buff is applied to the nails, which eliminates the gloss;
        • after that, using a special tool, you need to degrease the nail plates;
        • then it is necessary to apply a transparent varnish on the nail, drawing a square in the center, since you need to indent 1.5-2.5 mm from the edges;
        • it remains just to dry the nails, while not having to use a lamp;
        • after that, a primer is applied to the tips;
        • the final stage is the application of a base coat, gel polish and top.

        Undoubtedly, such a manicure takes longer than usual, but it guarantees a fairly simple removal. It is necessary to wipe the nails with liquid to remove gel polish - as a result, after 10 minutes, the varnish itself will begin to move away in the area of the square created by the transparent varnish. To eliminate the varnish around the perimeter of the nail plate, just use an orange stick. This method allows you to protect your nails when removing manicure and speed up the process.

        Reviews

        Today, many girls pay attention to manicure, while not everyone has the opportunity to go to a beauty salon, so they learn nail art at home. The rubber base is used by both professionals and inexperienced beginners, which is why it is quite popular. Users note that with its help gel polish stays on the nails for up to five weeks, while chipping from the ends does not occur. This coating is very popular with girls with brittle nails, since it is it that allows you to grow your natural nails to the required length. Even despite the fact that you need to apply a thick coating to ensure sufficient strength, the nails can still be easily bent.

        Of course, there are also negative reviews about this tool, but most of them relate to inexpensive products, which are most likely fake and do not contain rubber. If you properly store the base, as well as adhere to the basic rules when applying it, the effect will pleasantly surprise everyone.

        An overview of the rubber bases for gel polishes is presented in the video below.
