Currently, do-it-yourself gifts have become popular. It is even more pleasant to get not just a pretty trinket, but some kind of symbol. For example, everyone will be happy with the money tree. Many have been convinced more than once of the power of Feng Shui, and the crafts that draw wealth into the house are always a pleasant surprise.

What it is?

The talisman money tree is not just a beautiful piece of furniture. He has the strongest energy and is considered a symbol of wealth and success.

Many put a figure of a tree on an office table - it helps to lure customers, and by installing crafts at home, one can expect financial well-being in the family.

According to the principles of ancient Chinese feng shui art, every thing has magical powers, and if installed in the right place, it will start working. So, for the money tree, the so-called wealth corner is selected, it is located on the southeast side. Accordingly, it is here that you need to put the symbol of material success. It is advisable to install a figure in the corresponding zone in the hallway, it is here that the path to financial flows is best opened. To enhance the effect, it is recommended to put a large paper bill under the tree.

Kinds

There are several varieties of money trees made using different technologies.

  • A tree made of coins. It is a figurine in the form of a tree, on the branches of which instead of leaves iron coins hang. Usually, souvenir money with slots in the middle is used for this.

  • From other materials. If the required number of coppers was not found, then you can “hang” other elements on the tree, for example, a shell of pistachios or sequins.In any case, money should be a component of this exhibit, and therefore coins can be scattered under the craft.

  • Panel. In this case, the whole picture is laid out from iron coins. Copper at the same time stick or sew. This technology is very popular. The composition can be hung in the apartment, in the office or in the room where the organization’s ticket office is located.

  • From notes. A simpler version of the craft, although you can not call it economical, since more often real paper banknotes are used for manufacturing. If there were no original banknotes to create a monetary symbol, then crafts from a souvenir shop can be used, but in this case, at least one real banknote should be placed under the sample to strengthen the energy. A tree made of paper money is also a very nice and unusual souvenir.

  • Crassula. This is the name of a houseplant, which is considered to be monetary. A fat woman can be bought cheaply at any flower shop, and when she grows up, you should hang a few coins on her stems for a magical effect.

    • a coil of wire;
    • copper wire;
    • FUM;
    • threads

    • gypsum mixture;
    • alabaster;
    • plaster;
    • cement.

    Manufacturing steps

    Nowadays, many are so keen on the ideas of creating decorative objects for Feng Shui that art institutions even offer master classes for everyone. Watching how a unique symbol is created and repeating actions is very useful, because the master will be able to prompt, notice errors, and will help in practice. If it is not possible to attend a lesson, then we offer two step-by-step instructions for making a souvenir with your own hands.

    Stages of creating a panel.

    1. Disassemble the photo frame, pull out the plywood, put it on the base (wallpaper), circle with a pencil and cut the workpiece. Glue the cut material onto the outside of the plywood. After drying, draw a tree shape on the sheet.

    2. Combine water and PVA glue in a 1: 1 ratio in a bowl. Cut strips from prepared napkins, gently dip each into the previously obtained glue mixture, twist the tight tubes and wait for drying. If flagella of different thicknesses are obtained, then this is normal, in the future they will be needed to design the crown and branches.

    3. Apply glue to the pictured tree in the crown zone, apply dried tubules from napkins, design the crown, branches, roots according to the drawn pattern.

    4. Prepare alcohol or detergent, process coins with it. This procedure will fatten the iron money so that it sticks more securely. Stick coins on previously formed branches.

    5. Sprinkle the entire composition with black spray paint. After drying, a golden color can be applied on top. Next, with the help of a sponge, you should walk along the panel with silver paint. We are waiting for drying again.

    6. Dip a dry sponge in golden color, apply paint to the coins and blend. Coat the surface of the coins that is still wet from paint and shine. Leave the canvas to dry completely.

    7. Insert the picture into the frame and hang it in a suitable place.

      To make a three-dimensional structure, follow these steps.

      1. Tie pieces of copper wire to the coins. Suitable diameter is 0.3 mm.

      2. Fasten the segments with each other in five pieces - this will turn out the branches of the future tree.

      3. To keep the thin wire holding heavy coins, use an additional millimeter wire.Fold it twice, attach to the base of the branch and wrap the connection section with tape FUM. This must be done with all branches.

      4. Make up a common trunk from the branches, fastening everything with tape. Seal the trunk from the pieces of wire.

      5. Pour the gypsum mixture into the container, lower the barrel there and strengthen the figure until the gypsum solidifies.

      6. While the gypsum sets, prepare a composition of alabaster, plaster and cement, dilute the resulting compound with PVA glue dissolved in water. When the gypsum mixture hardens (usually it takes half an hour), remove the tree and apply the substance obtained above to the trunk, shape the grooves.

      7. Paint the figure with spray paints, acrylic varnish or sparkles in your favorite colors. For example, golden, bronze, silver shades look very solid.

      Interesting ideas

      The most popular options for making a money symbol are presented above, but there are even more original and unusual examples.

      • You can give the tree a natural color. For the summer version, the coins are painted green, and the trunk is brown. You can create a winter landscape: for this, the coppers are sprayed with white paint - this technique will create a snowy, light, delicate effect.

      • Using coins, you can design a Christmas tree. To do this, we turn off the pieces of cardboard in the form of cones, glue each of them with iron money and decorate with cotton balls. The resulting figure will attract wealth in the coming year.

      • Another original idea is a tree with a round crown. Glue a small foam rubber ball in several layers with coins, leave a place under the future trunk. Glue the ordinary branch with decorative ribbons, insert it into the hole left in the ball, after having pierced the hole in the foam rubber, fix it with glue. Pour a mixture of sand, alabaster and water into a beautifully designed glass, fix the previously obtained structure vertically.

      Decorate the composition: for this you can use paint, sparkles, beads, beads, sequins and any other materials for decor.

      • An easy and quick way to make a money tree yourself is to present it schematically. You can simply cover a sheet of paper with glue, scatter coins depicting foliage on it, wait for it to dry, place the panel under the frame, firmly pressed to the glass, and hang it on the wall. Such an instance has no less energy power than more complex options.
      • From coins you can embroider a picture. The trunk and branches are created by embroidery, and decorative coins with holes are sewn onto the canvas as leaves.

      At the request of the author, the tree can be created from beads, sequins, glitter and other materials.
