Paper napkins appeared more than half a century ago and have since been densely settled in our lives. Different in color and structure, they not only help maintain cleanliness, but also decorate any lunch or dinner.

In addition to the decorative function, napkins have a very important role - keeping your hands and face clean. Therefore, no matter how beautiful the composition of paper products looked, if necessary, you need to use it. As a rule, they are combined with fabric napkins that are laid out on your knees, while paper ones are placed on the table in specially designed stands.

Terms of use:

• Those who do not use wipes look sloppy in the eyes of those present, so their use is mandatory.
• It is strictly forbidden to refuel them by a belt or collar. If you need to wipe your lips - you need to take one napkin, fold it in half and get the dirt wet.
• You wipe your fingers by stroking, in no case do you have to unfold the napkin completely or wave it over the table.

• Fan. To do this, bend each napkin diagonally to get a triangle. Such triangles will need approximately 15-20 pieces, depending on the width of your napkin holder. You can form a fan by folding the resulting shapes in a stack and carefully moving it to the side or laying them on top of each other with a slight offset (about a centimeter) so that they have a common angle. Then you should install the resulting fan in a napkin holder.

• Double-sided fan. The principle of its manufacture, as well as simple. Just instead of one fan we add two and set them so that the vertices of the triangles look in different directions. If this or the previous method seems too simple for you, any flower or bow that you can make based on an origami scheme will help revive the composition.

• Crown. One of the simple schemes, based on all the same triangles of nine folded from napkins. Three pieces are laid with the edge inward with a fold and three are added to the center. You can take more, the main condition is the symmetry of the teeth.

Napkins can be folded into a plastic or glass cup or other round low container with a wide neck, as follows:

• Having folded them in the form of a cone or horn in layers. The free corner of each subsequent layer can be combined with the previous one or shifted to the side so that it is more convenient to tackle it.
• Make the cones narrower and place them next to each other.

• Napkins can be expanded in one layer so that one large square is obtained. Then they should be tightly rolled along one of the sides and installed in a container next to each other. The amount should correspond to the width of the glass or cup so that they stand evenly and do not fall. If the resulting tubes seem too long to you, they should be folded in a folded state in half and installed in this state.
• The tubes will become more interesting if the unfolded paper surface is folded starting from the corner. Then it will resemble a candle. It can be put personally in a glass or narrow glass.
• Make a fan or peacock out of them. For the fan, you need to fold the straightened canvas with an accordion, bend in half and place in a glass. The same blank may be the tail of a peacock. For his neck and head, you need to fold two angles to the middle so that a diamond forms. Fold its sides from the corner in half again and tuck in the outer corner.Fold again in half lengthwise and bend your head. Attach to the tail.

If you have a low square bowl - use it. To do this, fold the napkin in half. Stacked blanks with a height equal to the width of the tank are inserted into the bowl so that they hang over the edge, in a cascade. If they are divided into two parts, you get a nice fountain.

A real decoration of the table will be a saucer or a vase with rosebuds. To create them, you need to follow the instructions step by step:

• Fold the napkin in one layer and fold it diagonally.
• From the place of the bend, wrap it once or twice at your discretion, so that there is material left to form the leg.
• The bent strip will be a bud, it needs to be folded, and the rest should be twisted to make a stem.
• The top of the bud needs to be slightly spread, giving the shape of a flower.
• The resulting roses should be put in a suitable container. From green napkins you can make leaves, but even without them the flowers look spectacular.

As you can see, there is nothing complicated in laying napkins. Some tips may help in this matter:

• It takes time to draw up even the simplest composition. This must be taken into account when setting the table. The preliminary training will facilitate the process.
• All items on the table should be combined. If you cannot choose a color, dwell on white, as it fits everything.
• Since other people will use napkins, all manipulations must be performed with well-washed, dry hands.
• Napkins and other dishes should be clean and dry.
• If something didn’t work out right and you had to redo it several times, it’s better to get rid of the product, because the paper quickly loses its neatness.
• Wipes should be easy to remove. For this reason, do not stuff them too closely, because when you take out one, the others will fall out.
• To avoid embarrassing situations, the napkin container should be in close proximity to the person. When installed, they usually count one copy for four people.
