The cold season is over, warm days are coming, the long-awaited vacation is approaching, and therefore, it is necessary to think about the place of its holding. Sometimes you want to combine everything at once: a cultural program with simple fun, in which case it would be wise to go to Prcanj, where you can admire the bewitching sights that are guaranteed to leave their mark in your memory, soak up the beaches under the scorching sun and taste delicious local cuisine .

Where to eat?
The city is not replete with a large number of various restaurants or shops with food, but high-quality service and delicious food more than compensate for this drawback.
If you want to have a tasty meal, taste local dishes and at the same time not spend precious time relaxing to cook, then go to one of the restaurants with confidence.
As already mentioned, the quality of the cuisine is top notch, while the cost of food is moderate.
If you are not a fan of such establishments or just want to save money, you can visit one of the grocery stores. Here the situation is exactly the same as with restaurants: in the city there are several places where you can purchase everything you need to fully eat.
As for shopping, this city is definitely not for him. If you want to buy souvenirs, in this case you can go to the city of Budva, which is much better suited for these purposes.
About the beaches
Having understood the food, of course, you will want to visit the beach. The city cannot boast of a huge recreational area, everything is quite modest, but at the same time cozy. However, you can be calm - this does not hurt a drop. There are relatively few people in this small city, so you will definitely find your place on the beach.
The sea has all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable pastime. The visitor can rent an umbrella and a tanning bed, it will not be affordable and at the same time it eliminates the need to walk with your belongings. Or a person can come with his own towel, which will mean free admission to the beach for sunbathing and swimming in the sea.

As you can see, from May to November, the water in the sea is quite warm and great for swimming. In addition, I would like to note that the aground is very small, and if you don’t know how to swim, you will still be able to splash around to the bank.
It is also worth noting that the city has thermal springs, which are used for rehabilitation after suffering some diseases.
The city's attractions
So we came to the most important thing: the sights of the city. This point should be given special attention, because the city is replete with various places that a tourist simply must visit.
Previously, it was a rich city, a large amount of money was invested in it, which in turn caused great interest from the intelligentsia.
This leads to such an abundance of family estates, as well as the presence of several beautiful cathedrals that captivate the soul with their design.
If you have a lot of free time, it is recommended to visit not only existing, but already destroyed sights. These include a church on a hill above the city it is abandoned, but despite this, you should go there. I would like to say separately that the famous navigator Ivo Vizin was buried there.
In addition, we suggest visiting the following places.
- Church of the Nativity of the Virgin. This temple belongs to one of the iconic buildings in the city, there are several reasons for this. One of them is the historical value of the building. The church was founded in the 13th century and was built over 100 years, more precisely, 120 years. Many did not believe that the cathedral would be completed, but this happened, and until today the building pleases with its spiritual and cultural component of tourists and the indigenous inhabitants of the city.
- The list abounds with the destroyed ancient infrastructure. Here you can rank the Cathedral of the Three Sisters with a beautiful legend that touches upon such important factors for each person as love and time.
- Beskuch Palace was erected in the 13th century, when the owner’s family had a huge weight in society. The estate held meetings of the intelligentsia, in other words, parties. It is worth looking at the building from the side of the sea, so it has a magnificent view, causing delight and sadness from the fact that time mercilessly takes its toll.
- Verona Palace The owner’s family played a key role in the development of the city. The palace is considered the richest in the city. However, it is worth noting that individual estates were purchased from the Bisanti clan, and not built on their own projects.
Today, any of the tourists can admire the sights of such a beautiful city. Be sure to buy a card in order not to miss any of the places that are worth visiting.
Of course, these are not all the sights of the city, but only their small grain.
