How to tie a bandana

The first "discoverers" of the bandanas were the Spaniards. But they used it by no means for beauty, but practical, to prevent sand from getting on the head and face. Then this accessory was picked up by cowboys in order to protect the neck from the scorching sun and sand, striving to get into the eyes.

• The form. More often triangular or square, but they are also rectangular. The weight of the bandanas also depends on the chosen shape, the lightest among them are triangular, and it is much easier to tie them than rectangle bandanas. • Material. In the summer heat, it is better to give your preference to thin silk and natural cotton scarves. Defiant and no less stylish leather bandanas are comfortable to wear in the cool. But if you are a bright adherent of the rock style, there are no prohibitions.

From the base we begin to bend the bandana into a wide strip. We attach the center to the neck and winding the long ends behind the neck, cross them and bring them forward. It remains to tie the ends in two knots, and you're done.
7. Wristband. We bend the triangle from the bandana several times, until a wide strip is formed. We put our hand on the strip and put its ends on the wrist, going in one stripe to another about a centimeter. The remaining ponytails can be hidden under a strip or wrapped again around the arm and tied in a knot. In the same way, a bandage can be made on the ankle.

It can be woven into a braid or twisted into a bundle. And in order for the bandana not to slip off the head and hold the hair tight, you can use invisible or clips. But the main factor will be how much you tied the knot.

Ponytail. We twist the triangle from the bandana into a tourniquet, and you don’t need to try to pull it - too tight a tourniquet will look like a rope. Next, we bind our tail and tighten the tourniquet from above. The ends can be left to hang freely, or screwed into curls, or simply hidden behind a tourniquet.

Greek hairstyle. As for the ponytail, we make a tourniquet from a bandana, the only difference is in this case, the denser the tourniquet, the more hair will be held. Tie it over the hair, as in an ordinary Greek hairstyle. The ends can either be tied in the form of a bow or tucked into a harness. Next, we begin to thread locks of hair and tuck under a tourniquet, continue until all hair is collected.

Glamor We collect hair in a bun and pin on the back of the head. Add volume to the hairstyle with a comb on the front. Drawn into a wide band of bandana starting from the back of the head, hold under the fleece and tie into a pretty bundle. The ends can be hidden or left free to hang around.
