How to make a garter of the bride with your own hands?

Although this element of the wardrobe is hidden from prying eyes, but at the end of the celebration it will certainly be in the hands of one of the guests, therefore it should surprise with its chic and originality. Today there is a huge selection of garters on the leg, they can be purchased ready-made in bridal shops, as well as sewn with your own hands, making any fantasy and design idea a reality.

A wedding garter is considered the main accessory of every bride. This small and invisible detail serves as an object of close attention of guests, especially males. By tradition, a young man who is lucky enough to become the owner of a caught garter will soon marry. To give this element of the image individuality and originality, many girls prefer to make it on their own. When choosing a particular garter model, it is necessary to consider that, depending on the decor and appearance, they can be:

• Thin. They are the most common option and are most often used as a complement to a voluminous dress, decorated with lace inserts, ribbons and rhinestones. A thin garter and a short outfit will be harmoniously combined. She looks light, elegant and beautifully emphasizes the shape of the legs.

• Wide. They are usually chosen by the fair sex, who adore voluminous jewelry. Such accessories are usually sewn of tulle, lace and satin ribbons.They are considered classic models and are characterized by a number of advantages: they are firmly fixed (do not fold and do not twist), they are easily worn, they are ideal for any style of dress.
